My sister Julie is an amazing writer. This is a poem she wrote years ago that I have always liked:
"She whispered in the wind, hoping her words would travel safely to the soft pink pools in their ears. Where they keep the memory of her childhood laughter, safely echoing and resting like she did in their arms when a child."

I am learning a lot about my girls by reading your blog. That was a lovely poem Julie wrote and I thought it was sweet of you to post it. Loved reading about our trip, it was like being there all over--without the humidity (gag) and the heat(gag, gag).
I am going to read family blogs on Sunday, I just don't find the time on other days.
I am going to write 2 blogs, an article and start on my book today. ahhh :)
But it is nice and cool and softly raining out side. That is my very favorite kind of weather. I had Trader Jo's sipping chocolate last night. YUM I think I will have more later today
Love ya, Mom
How sweet Deb! I remember writing that in Eritrea on the back of an evelope. Funny. I didn't remember it exactly, but that's sweet you posted it. It's fun to discover your Blog!!
