Mom's Secret

I have figured out one of my mom's secrets.  My mom is truly the most amazing women I know.  The older I get the more amazed I am by her.  I have always been in ah at how she is able to do so much in one day.  I have never really figured out how she does it--until today.  I get to go home for Christmas today.  I think I must have the excitement you feel on Christmas morning because I woke up at 3:00 am and just couldn't go back to sleep.  I finally just got up at 3:45 knowing that I was not going to sleep any more.  Here's where the secret comes in--you can get SO much done from 3:45 to 6:30.  It's amazing!

I finished packing, unloaded the dishwasher, washed my bathroom rugs, stripped my bed and washed my sheets and even had time to remake my bed with the same sheets before I went to work, cleaned the whole bathroom including the tub, mirror, toilet, baseboards, and sink.  Then I thought it would be a great idea to mop.  So I put my sexy lingerie on (I like to clean in lingerie:)) and swept and mopped (on hands and knees) the kitchen and the bathroom. 

I organized part of my closet, went online and bought some music on iTunes and pinned my dress that I am hoping my mom will hem.  At 6:00 I decided I should eat so I made an omelet and washed the dishes.  I would have liked to vacuum my very clean house, but I didn't think my neighbors would appreciate it at 4:00 in the morning.  So I got all that done (and other little things) all before 6:30 am and I even had time to blog about it.

Mom, your secret is out!  What I'm really hoping is that my body will realize that I am going to put it to work if it wakes me up at 3:00 in the morning so it won't do it again. :)
